Tempered Glass
Also known as toughened glass, tempered glass is used for commercial (and certain residential) doors and windows, some fireplace doors, commercial shelving, and cabinet doors. Its strong resistance to objects piercing through it make laminated glass great for minimizing any risk of injury should it break or crack. Laminated glass is also highly utilized in ballistic resistant and security applications.
