As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Glazier/Glass Installer/Windows Installer Technician to join our team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Determine Work Requirements: determine the type of glass, frames and material required, read blueprints, drawings and specifications, and provide estimates of costs and materials.

Glass and Window Installation: Install and replace glass, windows, and other related products with precision and attention to detail.

Measurement and Cutting: Accurately measure, mark and cut glass materials to fit specific requirements, ensuring a perfect fit.

Sealing and Insulation: Apply sealants and insulation materials to ensure the proper functioning of installed glass and windows, considering weatherproofing and energy efficiency.

Repairs and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance on existing glass structures and windows, troubleshooting issues and providing effective solutions.

Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.

Supervise and instruct apprentices and other workers.

Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs, provide updates on the installation process, and address any concerns or questions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a Glazier, Glass Installer, or Windows Installer.
• Strong knowledge of glass types, window systems, and installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent measurement and cutting skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
