Job Summary<\/b><\/h2>

We are seeking a high-performing Glass and Window Estimator<\/b> with exceptional sales and communication skills. In this role, you will be the face of the company, visiting residential and commercial locations to perform precise field measurements and consult with clients. You will be responsible for transforming technical requirements into persuasive proposals and managing the client relationship from the initial inquiry to the final contract.<\/p>

Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/h3>

  • On-Site Assessments:<\/b> Travel to client residences and commercial job sites to perform expert-level measurements for windows, doors, and custom glass installs.<\/p><\/li>

  • Consultative Sales:<\/b> Act as a subject matter expert, guiding clients through product selections and providing solutions that meet their aesthetic and functional needs.<\/p><\/li>

  • Blueprint & Specification Analysis:<\/b> Review architectural drawings and take-offs for larger commercial projects to determine the full scope of work.<\/p><\/li>

  • Technical Estimation:<\/b> Calculate labor, material, and equipment costs accurately to ensure competitive and profitable bidding.<\/p><\/li>

  • Professional Proposals:<\/b> Prepare and present clear, detailed, and persuasive bid proposals, highlighting the value of our services.<\/p><\/li>

  • Lead Management:<\/b> Promptly follow up on inquiries, maintain an active sales pipeline, and close deals to meet company growth targets.<\/p><\/li>

  • Cross-Team Collaboration:<\/b> Coordinate with the installation and fabrication teams to ensure field measurements are communicated with 100% accuracy.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    Required Skills & Qualifications<\/b><\/h3>

    • Field Experience:<\/b> Proven ability to take precise measurements in complex residential and commercial environments.<\/p><\/li>

    • Exceptional Communication:<\/b> Ability to translate technical jargon into “client-friendly” language and build immediate rapport with homeowners and contractors.<\/p><\/li>

    • Sales Acumen:<\/b> Strong negotiation skills and a “hunter” mentality for following up on quotes and closing sales.<\/p><\/li>

    • Technical Proficiency:<\/b> Ability to read blueprints\/CAD drawings and experience with industry estimation software (e.g., Shower online).<\/p><\/li>

    • Mathematical Accuracy:<\/b> Extreme attention to detail\u2014measurements must be right the first time to avoid costly re-orders.<\/p><\/li>

    • Professionalism:<\/b> A clean, professional appearance and demeanor suitable for entering high-end residential homes and corporate offices.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

      Physical Requirements & Licensing<\/b><\/h3>

      • Mobility:<\/b> Ability to navigate construction sites, climb ladders, and handle measuring equipment in various weather conditions.<\/p><\/li>

      • Travel:<\/b> Must have a valid driver\u2019s license and a reliable record for traveling to multiple client locations daily.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

        Performance Review Criteria<\/b><\/h3>

        Evaluation for this role is based on:<\/p>

        1. Sales Conversion Rate:<\/b> The percentage of on-site visits that result in signed contracts.<\/p><\/li>
